Both ends of Airwork’s round cylinders are fixed to the tubes thanks to a rolling process.
They are available in different versions: single or double acting, magnetic, cushioned.
Fixing accessories are available and special executions can be carried out.

CY series ISO 15552 Cylinders are produced complying with the ISO 15552 norm, and they have bores from Ø32 to 125 mm.

Particularly indicated where precision and liability are really important, they are available in different versions: double effect, cushioned and magnetic.

The new tube profile makes the cylinder excellent also from the aesthetic side.

Special cylinders on customer’s drawing can be realized, as well as the realization of versions with VITON seals.
A new version with a metal scraper for harsh environments has recently been introduced (link).

ISO 15552 cylinders CZ series are produced complying with the ISO 15552 norm and they have bores from Ø32 to 125 mm.

Twin rods cylinders are used when it’s necessary to avoid any possible rotation of its linear movement. Available diameters are: 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 mm.
There is also the possibility to use VITON seals for high temperatures.

CM series compact cylinders made by Airwork comply the ISO 21287 norm.
They are particularly suitable for small spaces thanks to their reduced dimensions while maintaining excellent stability and strength.
Bores from the newest Ø12 mm to 100 mm, with fixing position according to the ISO norm.

CX series cylinders have been made complying the ISO 15552. norm.
These cylinders are particularly suitable in aggressive atmospheres, in the marine and naval industry, pharmaceutical and food industry.

Newest compact guide cylinders are Airwork’s top of the range. This linear actuator offers a very high robustness combined with very small dimension.

It has a central pneumatic cylinder and the guiding system is based on rods with very big diameters which move on self lubricant brass bearings or balls sleeves.

It is possible to install the cylinder in different positions and to change the orientation of the feeding devices, according to different needs.

Magnetic sensors can be added foldaway.

Airwork’s guided compact cylinder CC series family grows thanks to a new version with a self-regulating pneumatic cushioning.

It’s a simple system that offers many advantages:

CD series, is the new short stroke cylinder who replaces the previous CE series.

Airwork short stroke cylinders are engineered to guarantee good performances in very reduced spaces. They are available in different version: double acting, single acting and with through rod.

Available in different dimensions from Ø16 to Ø100 mm, thanks to their small dimension and high performances, are suitable for applications in reduced spaces.

The body has grooves for the installation of sensors.

Rodless cylinders are born from the requirement to reduce dimensions while granting same stroke dimensions.

They are available in several versions and bores vary from Ø25 to 63 mm.

Main features of this cylinder are the exceptional toughness of the guide while the sealing system guarantees a long life of the cylinder, even if in the presence of high temperature and speed.

They can be equipped with a standard carrier or with a shorter version; they are available with a guide and with ball bearings.

The patented Airwork pneumatic rod lock BS series is a mechanical clamping unit.
It is designed for ISO 15552 and 6432 VDMA cylinders, indeed it is used to block the rod of the cylinder in any position.

This locking device for cylinders blocks the cylinder’s rod movement in case of unexpected pressure drops.

The blocking force of this locking unit is always bigger than the one developed from the corresponding cylinder at 10 bars.

The patented Airwork rod lock BM series is a mechanical device to apply to cylinders ISO 15552 and 6432 VDMA whose scope is to block cylinder’s rod, in any position.

This solution allows to block the stroke of the cylinder at anytime an unexpected pressure fall occurs.

The blocking force is always and however greater of the one developed from the respective cylinder at 10 bars.

The stopper cylinders are made to stop or block moving parts such as load on an assembly line; they can also work as stand-by stopping device, since they exploit the large diameter of the rod using it as a pivot.

Airwork’s guide units are engineered for cylinders complying with ISO 15552 and 6432 VDMA norms.

They are recommended for the deplacement of high loads and where also high speed and precision of positioning are requested.

These characteristics renders this guide unit suitable for use in several industrial fields, like in loading lines, in the packaging industry and the automation in general.

Airwork rotary cylinders are engineered in order to transform the rectilinear motion, typical of the pneumatic cylinders, into a rotating motion equipped with torque.

They are supplied with pneumatic cushioning and the angle of spin can be adjusted of about 10°.

A special regulation, by means of guide, reduces the clearance between pinion and rack.

It’s possible to have a custom rotation if required.

Airwork’s hydraulic speed regulator, is an oil system with closed circuit which has to be connected to a pneumatic cylinder in order to obtain an adjustable slowing down of the stroke.

Several versions are available: regulation in push, in traction and double regulation. It can be fitted with SKIP or STOP valves, or both.

Magnetic switches are accessories that allow to identify the position of the piston inside the cylinder.

They have different shapes, oval, round or “T”, and they are available in two versions, REED or HALL.
